Rezha Macedonia pepper

Rezha Macedonia is a rare heirloom grown for centuries in Macedonia. The peppers ripen from light green to a deep red . However, what is distinctive is the russeting on the skin, known as 'corking'.
The 4-7 inch fruit is similar in spiciness to a jalapeno, though it may vary widely. The flavor can be described as sweet and slightly nutty. A mid-season pepper, it will grow pretty much anywhere and produce continuously. 50 seeds per packet.
