White Rose is what I'm calling a tomato sent to me by my friend Martin from Slovakia. Mato told me he found this tomato in a field of Rose de Berne, but it was pure white. I grew it this year and it turned out to be a remarkable producer of medium creamy white globes with a slight blush of pink at the blossom end and in the flesh at maturity. I was picking a box of these a week from just a couple plants. The flavor is mild, but sweet and good with just a hint of citrus, if you haven't grown a white tomato before, either this one or my Vincent's would be a good bet. The fairly compact plants began producing in less than 70 days and continued right up to our first hard freeze.
