Jasmyn Risse hot pepper

Jasmyn Rissie is a small apple-shaped pepper from South Africa. It needs a long season to mature, but is very prolific. We got it to ripen to a brilliant red by the first of October here in Northern New Mexico in zone 5B. The fruit is a little over an inch in diameter, with medium thick walls and heat about like a jalapeno. I dried them and made a spicy powder, but they would be great pickled as well. 50 seeds per packet
