Murasaki pepper

Murasaki means 'purple' in Japanese, and this is one of the darkest purple peppers you can grow. It is also known as 'Purple Beauty' or 'Murasaki Purple' pepper. Although tthe fruit may look like a hot pepper (like Bellingrath Gardens) this variety is completely without heat. Itdoes have a distinctivesweet and slightly tangy flavor. The plants were vigorous and productive, even in the difficult summer of 2023.
