Six Shooter Corn

Six Shooter was a variety I grew as a kid because it was said to set six ears on a single stalk. It didn't then and still doesn't, but it is a fine early white sweet corn. Each stalk sets two ears about 7 inches and filled to the tip, Tight husks and generous silk tend to keep insects out and the flavor is sweet and old-fashioned. Best of all it does well in northern climates with good cold soil germination and early maturity (65 days).
