St. Antonine Bell Pepper

Easily the largest bell pepper in the world, this monster from France sets huge crops on a stout plant. The only drawback is they are borne low on the plant and grow right down to the ground, so you have to watch they do not rest on damp soil. The 1/2 thick, meaty fruits ripen to a vivid red and are wonderfully sweet.
