Dixie Speckled is a rare and quite striking butterpea which sets bunches of pods right at the top of the plant. Each contains three or four tender and flavorful bright magenta lima beans which turn lavender on cooking. They are great in salads or soups. They did well with both the heat and the higher humidity this summer. Wait about 70 days from planting to harvest. (40 seeds per packet)
