Neckargold Pole Bean

Neckargold is a yellow wax pole bean with high yields of crunchy 8 inch pods with excellent sweet flavor. The straight pods are 1/2 inch; wide and semi-flattened - a little like an Italian bean.We are selling tons of these at the farmers market where they are a favorite. Neckargold would be an excellent choice for a market garden. The vines are vigorous climbers which easily top 8 feet, so you need some serious support. A good choice might be to plant them along a tall fence. They are enormously productive. We can pick several pounds off a 20 foot row in the morning and come back for more in the afternoon. This bean is definitely worth a try this summer! We will send 50 or so seeds, enough to supply friends and family with this wonderful vegetable.
