Bosque Green cherry has some wild genes (from l . hirsutum) and it shows up in the sweet, bold flavor.
We take these to the Santa Fe Farmer's Market and sell all we have
within minutes. The fruit ranges from 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch in diameter and bear continuously on a
big 7 foot plants. It is one of my favorites and one I have spent years bringing to this stage. It takes about 65 to 70 days from transplanting to get ripe fruit. You can tell the fruit is ripe when it just begins to soften. We will send at least 40 seeds by first class mail with full instructions for starting.
Good luck in your garden this next season!
