I've been raising this peanut for a number of years and have selected each year for earliness, cold tolerance, size and productivity. Here on the edge of zone 5 at an elevation of 6,000 feet this variety now produces abundant crops before frost. There is no other peanut like this and there is nothing like the flavor of your own home-grown peanuts. A bonus is the nitrogen the plants put back into the soil. I rotate them with corn or plant the peanuts in between an early crop like garlic. If you have the room, give this Spanish type peanut a try. Maturity is 90-100 days from sowing. Wait to plant until the soil has warmed. I'll send enough seed for at least 45 foot of row. International shipping is not available.
