Indeed a lucky accident, the original cross was discovered by Craig LeHoullier. Lucky Cross is a bicolor with Brandywine and unknown parentage and has a complex flavor lacking in some yellow tomatoes. Many of the fruits will be over a pound and they are produced continuously on vines that reach over 7 feet. (78 days)
